Anushka is a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator with over eighteen years of experience as a Montessori Directress. She started her teaching career in 2005, and has since worked in several leading AMI Montessori Schools in Sri Lanka. She is extremely passionate about promoting inclusive education and believes in providing every child the opportunity to discover their unique strengths and passions. She therefore strives to provide a nurturing environment for children to explore and discover their strengths.

A deep commitment in the field of Childcare also motivated her to pursue specialised training to work with children who have Special Educational Needs. Over the years, she has gained extensive work experience with children who have Special Educational Needs, undertaking individual sessions and also working at Special Needs Learning Support Centres.

At Islanders Montessori, she aims to deliver an exceptional educational journey for children while building a nurturing community for families and educators alike.
